Ask for Angela

Ask for Angela is a nationally recognised safety initiative designed to help anyone who feels unsafe, vulnerable, or threatened while out in pubs, bars, restaurants, or other participating venues. By discreetly asking venue staff for “Angela”, individuals can quickly access support and a safe way out of a difficult situation.

The scheme promotes safer nights out and encourages venues to ensure staff are trained to respond appropriately. To learn more about the national initiative, access resources, or find out how venues can get involved, please visit the official Ask for Angela website at askforangela.co.uk.

A number of pubs, bards, restaurants and attractions across the Blackpool area are trained in the scheme, promoting a safer space for residents and visitors.
