Children, Young People and Families Partnership Board
The Children, Young People and Families Partnership Board (CYPF Board) is the key strategic partnership overseeing services and outcomes for children, young people, and families in Blackpool. Established by senior leaders across the Council, health services, and policing, the Board brings together partners from public, private, and voluntary sectors to provide collective leadership and accountability for improving lives across the town .
The Board’s role is to coordinate and drive delivery of Blackpool’s Children, Young People and Families Partnership Plan, ensuring that services are joined up, evidence-based, and responsive to the needs and lived experiences of local families. It focuses on tackling inequality and deprivation, promoting early help, and ensuring children grow up safe, healthy, and able to achieve their potential within stable and supportive families.
Acting as a central point for strategic oversight, the CYPF Board works through strong partnership collaboration, shared responsibility, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. It uses data, insight, and co-production with children, young people, and families to shape priorities, monitor impact, and address emerging challenges—supporting the wider ambition for Blackpool to be a place where all children and families can thrive.
