Blackpool Safeguarding Partnership has developed a half day Multi-agency session
'Safeguarding Blackpool's children from Neglect'
Aims & Objectives of the session:
- Discuss the Blackpool Partnership Neglect Strategy
- Reflect on the 6 forms of neglect
- Reflect on the impact of neglect on children’s development, safety & outcomes
- Discuss ‘Blackpool Families Rock’ & how we work ‘WITH’ families
- Social Pedagogy Practice Principals & our values
- Restorative Practice Social Discipline Window
- Introduce ACE Research & trauma informed practice - working with parents
- Introduce ‘Behaviour Change Science’ & links to Blackpool Families Rock
- Introduce the Graded Care Assessment Tool
Please note sessions will be half day and will take place within Bickerstaffe House, Talbot Road, Blackpool FY1 3AH
You will be advised of room location on confirmation of the session
The session on the 25th March 2025 will be located @The Grange, Dinmore Avenue, Blackpool FY3 7RW
